ACID ATTACK !!

Ms. Brown's class recently did a lab on how acid forms into acid rain. They learned  how it  can dissolve and erode rocks through chemical erosion.  Additionally, the students used their Ipads to help record their findings.

Looks Interesting!!

Fremont Club Fair !

Fremont held the Annual Club Fair this week and it was a wonderful success.  As you can see in the pictures it was very well attended with great participation by our Fremont Falcons. There was lots of  information, music, and even a raffle box to enter for some great prizes.  There was a table where students could put in ideas for future clubs. They came up with ideas like a Dance club, Pokemon club, and an International food Club (YUMMY!!)

A big thank you  to Ms. Pompey who as Club Fair Advisor organized the event. Another big thank you to all of the student volunteers who helped out at the tables and answered tons of questions about their clubs.

 A GREAT CROWD!

A big Fremont Congratulations to our New WEB Leaders. They have been hard at work welcoming  our incoming 6th graders and will continue mentoring them throughout the year.

WEB Coaches are :

Ms. Madrid, Ms. Farrell, Mr. Smathers and  Ms. Todd.

Have  a GREAT YEAR!!

*WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) WEB, an acronym for Where Everybody Belongs, is a middle school transition program that welcomes 6th graders and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their middle school experience. Members of the 8th grade class are trained to act as positive role models, motivators, leaders and teachers who guide the 6th graders to discover what it takes to be successful in middle school. Schools have reported that WEB has helped reduce bullying and discipline issues, as well as increased student safety and connection for the whole school.
