Mr. White's 8th grade Science classes are finishing up a unit on Flight. The students studied the history of flight, the science behind it  and then after constructing balloons of tissue paper (see Blog entry dated  May 26 - Fun with Balloons), they  moved on to creating and engineering gliders. The gliders turned out really well and even flew well !! Some students even got to practice real flight on the flight simulator!!
