Ms. Zermeno's 7th grade Social Studies classes have been creating catapults as part of their studies on the middle ages and the environmental resources used to develop technologies that were available to them.
The Channel Islands University students visited the 7th grade Science classes for the last time this year. The students participated in building buoys out of PVC pipe and Frisbees. They had to try and see which team could build a buoy that would hold the most golf balls as part of a lesson on buoyancy and density. Working in groups of 4 the most that one buoy held was 72 golf balls!! Amazing !
