An Evening at the Wax Museum with Ms. Rowe's 6th Grade Class

 The students in Ms. Rowe's 6th grade presented an Evening at the Wax Museum.The  students  made a button to push which activated the wax figures to give biographical information about themselves. Parents and guest had a great time interacting with all the different wax figures.

Jenna Prewitt Brain Injury Guest Speaker- Miranda and Shiffman's 7th Grade Science classes

Jenna Prewitt was a guest speaker for Mrs. Miranda & Mr. Shiffman's 7th grade Science classes. They are studying the brain and the nervous system in the human body. Jenna Prewitt was hit by a drunk driver when she was 18 and was left with brain damage so that her entire left side does not respond anymore. As the guest speaker she explained the the 7th graders the type of life she leads and what are her challenges and successes. An additional note is that her mother was Mrs. Miranda's teacher in middle school.

Windturbines and Mr. Shiffman"s Environmental Science Class 2/4/15

Mr. Shiffman's class had an exciting time designing, building and then testing their windmills using Vernier probes to measure the power output.

MESA Robotic Arm Trials Feb. 4- Ms. Vedernikova"s MESA class

Ms. Vedernikova's MESA class recently had a day outside doing distance trials with their newly developed mechanical arms. 

The top three teams are :
