Clara Knoeffler, a Holocaust survivor, was invited to speak
on Thursday, Feb 25th by Ms. Nolan and her 8th grade Language Arts classes . Over 100 students attended the event. This was is a wonderful chance for our students to meet a Holocaust survivor as Ms. Nolan noted, "they are diminishing each year as the survivors continue to age and die." The opportunity for our students to get a first person account of actual events brings history that much more alive and real for them.
