Out on the Estuary |
Ms. Anderson's Science classes took part in a field trip last Friday to the Channel Islands National Park Visitor Center, the Ventura Waste Water & Recycling Center, and did research on the Santa Clara Watershed. The trip was sponsored by Crossing the Channel, a program affiliated with CSU, Channel Islands. This year long program provides educational curriculum and mentorships for students about their local watershed while integrating real-world, project-based learning experiences.
The students enjoyed themselves out on the beaches, exploring the museum, and taking in the wonderful smells at the Ventura Waste Water & Recycling Center.
Please note - Pictures taken of only one of three groups that attended the trip.
